Yoga Nidra is a systematic guided practice that brings you to a state between sleep and consciousness. It is conducive to deep emotional and physical healing, profound relaxation and focuses on multiple levels of well being, It eases anxiety, tension, and promotes good sleep and rejuvenation. Your brain may experience theta or delta waves which are thought to be essential for clearing out metabolic waste that forms in the brain throughout the day, which may explain the link between delta waves and cognitive processing, memory recall, immunity, stress levels, inflammation, hormones, healing and regeneration.
